Location: Pacifica State Beach, Pacifica, CA Owner: City of Pacifica Description of Project, Scope of Work Performed: Project consisted of the reconstruction of San Pedro Beach. Work activities included excavation of remaining soil beneath the San Pedro Terrace Road Bridge, excavation, grading and backfill of two parking areas, the construction of a concrete flood wall, the reconstruction of an existing pump station, the grading of existing sand dunes and construction of new sand dunes, the construction of a concrete trail system, the excavation and planting of a wetland area, and the installation of irrigation piping and native plants. The work was completed in a sensitive wetland habitat under Army Corps supervision.
