Location: Middlefield Road to Jefferson, Redwood City, California 94065 Owner: BHV Innisfree Ventures I, LLC Description of Project, Scope of Work Performed: This project was a fast-track design build project to construct a 15’ x 7.5’ below grade concrete box culvert through downtown Redwood City to facilitate the construction of an underground parking garage. The project was completed under the Redwood City Redevelopment agency and included the relocation of all utilities, stage traffic diversions, building demolition, tight access shoring, and the design and construction of the culvert. Final project tie-in required bulk-heading and temporary pumping to accommodate tidal flows with the existing culvert system.
